At the heart of GiGolf is our Junior Academy. We take great pride in giving back and creating the same opportunities we were fortunate to have during our own junior golfing years.
Led by PGA Head Professional Glen Ient, the academy is recognised across Yorkshire for its outstanding junior development — from grassroots to elite golfers. GiGolf Development Programmes are also recognised by England Golf and The Golf Foundation, reflecting the quality and impact of our opportunities.
During Glen's seven years at Sand Moor Golf Club, Glen grew junior membership from just 10 players to over 70. In his final year, he organised a fundraising event for a junior member who successfully overcame cancer, launching a remarkable 1,000-hole challenge completed by the juniors and raised £20,000 for Candlelighters.
The programme continues to deliver exceptional results, with three students earning American scholarships this year alone, and a proven track record of developing players from a 54 handicap to scratch by the age of 14.
As we build on our exciting partnership with Ilkley Grammar School, our goal is simple - to provide every junior with the support, structure, and opportunity to become the best golfer they can be.

Individual Lessons
We’re proud to support the next generation with subsidised junior lessons from just £30.
Group Coaching
Weekly junior group coaching sessions are available with PGA Professional Archie Rowntree, starting from just £10 per session. These sessions are extremely popular — be sure to book early to avoid missing out.
Holiday Camps
Full-day junior holiday camps combining fun, learning, and on-course experience in a supportive environment. Led by our expert coaches, sessions build skills, confidence, and a love for the game. Places are limited — book early. Dates available in our calendar.
