Yorkshire faced Hampshire in a dramatic final, taking a 2–1 lead from the morning foursomes before heading into the afternoon singles.
With the championship on the line, the Yorkshire Boys held their nerve when it mattered most, securing a 5–4 victory and lifting the trophy for a record-breaking 11th time!
A huge congratulations to the entire Yorkshire team on an outstanding performance throughout the championship.
A special mention must go to Ilkley’s Zac Ayre, who played his part in this fantastic achievement. Everyone at the Club is incredibly proud to see Zac representing Yorkshire on the national stage and now becoming an English County Champion.
A brilliant achievement and another fantastic moment for one of our talented young golfers.
Congratulations Zac and Team Yorkshire!
