Archie’s First Professional Win!

On Saturday morning, Archie returned to competitive golf for the first time in over a year, teeing it up in the Bradford Moor Annual Charity Open. Understandably, there were a few nerves standing on the first tee - a feeling that had clearly been missed after such a long break from competition.

Played in hot and windy conditions, with some very challenging pin positions throughout the course (the 18th green being a perfect example), it was never going to be an easy day. Despite that, Archie produced a composed and controlled performance, carding a superb level-par 70.

He made an excellent start, remaining bogey-free through the opening 11 holes. Although very few putts seemed willing to drop all day, he stayed patient, avoided costly mistakes, and kept his round together brilliantly.

The steady approach paid off, with a one-shot victory to lift the trophy. It's a fantastic result and, more importantly, a real confidence boost after such a long spell away from competitive golf. It was great to see him back competing, and hopefully this is the first of many more strong performances to come.
