At GiGolf, our team combines elite coaching expertise, competitive playing experience, and a welcoming, customer-first approach. Creating a professional yet friendly environment for every golfer.

Glen Ient – Owner & PGA Head Professional

Glen formed the team at the start of 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in coaching and retail, along with a strong reputation across Yorkshire for player development. Having worked at Romanby, Catterick, and Sand Moor Golf Club, he delivers high-level coaching using TrackMan 4 technology. Glen has transformed the Pro Shop into a premium retail space at Ilkley Golf Club and is passionate about helping golfers improve through expert coaching and custom fitting.

Archie Rowntree – PGA Assistant Professional

Turning professional in 2025, Archie is an exciting addition to the team. A former junior standout; runner-up at the Royal Birkdale Junior Open and a two-time Bradford Junior Open Champion. Archie brings energy, ambition, and modern coaching methods, alongside strong competitive experience.

Huey Cunningham – Retail Assistant

Huey has enjoyed an outstanding amateur career, including winning Regional Open Qualifying and becoming Bradford Open Champion. Playing off +4, he has secured a Division II college golf scholarship in St. Petersburg, Florida for 2026. His high-level playing experience brings valuable insight to the team.

Mark Hainsworth – Retail Assistant

With experience at Bracken Ghyll and Ilkley Golf Club, Mark brings a wealth of pro shop knowledge. A keen golfer himself, he offers friendly, knowledgeable support to all members and visitors.

Oscar Snell – Retail Assistant

Oscar is the newest member of the team, bringing enthusiasm and a strong golfing background from a family deeply involved in the game at Ilkley Golf Club.
