Glen Ient – Owner & PGA Head Professional

Glen established GiGolf in 2025, bringing extensive experience in coaching, retail, and player development. Having worked at Romanby, Catterick, and Sand Moor Golf Club, he delivers high-level coaching using TrackMan 4 technology and has transformed the Pro Shop at Ilkley Golf Club into a premium golfing destination. Glen is passionate about helping golfers improve through expert coaching, custom fitting, and first-class customer service.

Archie Rowntree – PGA Assistant Professional

Turning professional in 2025, Archie is an exciting addition to the team. A former junior standout, he was runner-up at the Royal Birkdale Junior Open and a two-time Bradford Junior Open Champion. Archie brings energy, ambition, modern coaching methods, and valuable competitive experience.

Jessie Roper – Digital Marketing & Operations Assistant

Jessie plays an important role in supporting the continued growth of GiGolf. Having studied Media and Business, she is currently completing a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketing Apprenticeship in partnership with Leeds City College.

Jessie supports the business through digital marketing, communications, and day-to-day operations, applying the latest marketing knowledge and industry best practices to help grow the GiGolf brand and enhance the customer experience.

Coming from a passionate golfing family, Jessie has a genuine enthusiasm for the game and the club environment, making her a valuable member of the team.

Huey Cunningham – Retail Assistant

Huey has enjoyed an outstanding amateur career, including winning Regional Open Qualifying and becoming Bradford Open Champion. Playing off +4, he has secured a Division II college golf scholarship in St. Petersburg, Florida, beginning in 2026. His high-level playing experience provides valuable insight and expertise for our members and customers.

Mark Hainsworth – Retail Assistant

With experience at both Bracken Ghyll and Ilkley Golf Club, Mark brings extensive Pro Shop knowledge and a passion for customer service. His friendly and approachable nature makes him a popular face among members and visitors alike.

Oscar Snell – Retail Assistant

Oscar brings enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a lifelong connection to the game through a family deeply involved in golf at Ilkley Golf Club. His passion for golf and commitment to delivering excellent service make him a valuable member of the team.
